Bendigo Senior Secondary College students celebrated their last day of classes on Tuesday, with fancy dress, a barbecue and music.
Students came clothed as everything from plague doctors, to Mario to mark the day.
For Cody Gebert, it was like reaching the end of a marathon, a relief. He said he was proud of his cohort.
"I'm over the moon," he said.
"It's like a huge slog to get through all of our at home learning, such motivation, just to get through it."
Year 12 Megan Moore said it was nice to do something fun to celebrate, even though it wasn't the same as every other year.
Megan said there had been challenges, but everyone had adapted really well.
"It's pretty shocking that we made it this far. I'm pretty nervous just to go off to uni and everything next year," she said.
"It's sad but it's also exciting because we get to start a news chapter."
