Ben left Junior MasterChef on Sunday night after being eliminated in a dessert challenge and has since been asked countless questions.

"I've been on The Project, WIN News and now the Bendigo Advertiser," he said. "And everyone at school has been asking questions to.

"Mostly they want to know who gets eliminated and who wins."

"No way, I'm doing as much cooking as I possibly can," he said. "Because what's not to love about cooking?

"I'm planning to do a really good duck recipe next. Duck is my favourite thing, it's so tender and can be so tasty. It's so good.

"I already have cooked with my grandmother again. We made a delicious grand final dinner the other night, which was awesome. We did assortment of things, chips and dips, vegie sticks, I made sausage rolls and prawn skewers and did a delicious pavlova for dessert."

Throughout Junior MasterChef, Ben lamented that he hadn't yet secured his cooking badge from his Cub Scouts group.

"You won't believe it but I still actually haven't got it," he said. "Since I have been eliminated I got a Grey Wolf badge, which is a big Cub Scouts badge that I'm proud of.

"I need to do some stuff on hygiene and explain some things before cooking a dish or two to get it. Not much."

Ben said he enjoyed he daily challenges that came with performing on Junior MasterChef.

"Going in every day to a new challenge, having a new thing to cook, a new recipe and doing cool things while meeting new people and making friends was amazing," he said.

"(I really enjoyed making) my Dreamtime Sunrise. It had lots of elements that were hard. I had to work quickly but I did do it and survived an elimination thanks to it."
