GREATER Bendigo's all-time COVID-19 case numbers have dropped by one.
The municipality's total case numbers ever changed from 100 to 99 on Wednesday in the Department of Health and Human Services' daily update.
This signals a case may have been reclassified.
None of the cases in Greater Bendigo are active.
COVID-19 data regularly changes for local government areas, as cases are reclassified, or found to be duplicate tests.
DHHS has previously told the Bendigo Advertiser that reclassification can occur for a variety of reasons.

Regional Victoria is again without active coronavirus cases.
Premier Daniel Andrews said the two cases in the Greater Shepparton are now free and clear after testing negative.
Victoria saw two new cases on Wednesday morning. Currently, there are 80 active cases across the state as a whole.
Mr Andrews said 180,000 workers returned to work today as metropolitan Melbourne exited it's lockdown.
He said that included 16,200 retail business, 5800 cafes, 1000 beauty businesses and 800 pubs.
"I want to thank everyone in all industries for the productive way they have, and continued to, engage with us," he said.
"They have been through a lot and we tried to support them as best we could. Now, they great support is everyone remaining vigilant and COVID safe.
"Many Melburnians are keen to get out support local businesses but I would remind everyone that (the COVID) rules still apply."
Victorian testing boss Jeroen Weimar said more than 208,000 Victorians had been tested in the last 14 days.
He highlighted regional Victorian's vigilance in continuing to get tested with almost 50,000 regional Victorian tests done in the last fortnight.
"There are no active cases but it is a strong performance of regional Victoria in coming out getting tested," he siad.
"It is a very consistent performance and we are grateful regional Victorians continue to be alert to the signs of COVID and are tested at the earliest of symptoms.
"For each postive case in regional Victorian, 5951 tests have been done."

VICTORIA has recorded two new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday.
The Department of Health and Human Services said there were also two further coronavirus deaths recorded overnight.

It was the first time since early March that there had been consecutive days of zero COVID-19 cases.
Wednesday's data brought the rolling 14-day case average for regional Victoria down to zero.
The rolling average for metropolitan Melbourne was 2.7, with the state average sitting at 2.7.
It came as metropolitan Melbourne moved out of lockdown after more than three months.
Residents in the city will be allowed to leave the house for any reason, although the 25-kilometre travel limit will remain in place.
The travel restriction will be removed from 11.59pm on November 8, when the border between regional Victoria and metropolitan Melbourne will be lifted.
