Daughter Rosalie Harvey said the family was very thankful to still have Mr and Mrs Grenfell, now both 96. The pair are just nine days apart in age, both born in February 1924.
Mrs Harvey said she'd admired her parents faithfulness throughout their marriage, to each other, to their family and their community.
She said her parents started "going together" aged about 17, she thinks they met through a church youth group.
