Born in Darwin and raised in remote Northern Territory communities of Milingimbi and Maningrida, Baker Boy raps in English and Yolngu Matha language representing his Arnhem Land family.
Named Young Australian of the Year in 2019, Baker Boy recently won the coveted Artist of the Year award at the National Indigenous Music Awards for the second consecutive year.
Currently living in central Victoria, the rapper is a quintessential performer who has also demonstrated dance and acting skills.
MC and rapper Dallas Woods hails from Western Australia's Kimberley.
Known for his role on ABC Kids' Move It Mob Style, he also supported Baker Boy on his national tour in 2018.
Bendigo council's acting coordinator inclusive communities Nikki Williams said organisers are delighted to showcase such an amazing lineup of young, talented musicians to perform the concert and spread messages of positivity.
"The production values on Dragon City Sounds will be exceptionally high and we expect the concert will not only be viewed locally, but also nationally and internationally," Ms Williams said.
"Prioritising the mental wellbeing of our young people is very important and we are aiming to provide a really high-quality music event, with great talent to help them feel more connected to community."
The concert takes place on Sunday, October 25 and is funded by VicHealth, filmed at Ulumbarra Theatre and produced by Bendigo Venues and Events, a business unit of Bendigo council.
