A BENDIGO man will face court after a crash in December 2019 that allegedly led to the death of a 77-year-old. The 19-year-old man has been charged with dangerous driving causing death and careless driving. The crash took place on Wood Street, Long Gully, on December 12, about 2.30pm. Other news: A 77-year-old man was allegedly struck by a green Kawasaki motorbike on Wood Street as he crossed the road. He died in hospital about four weeks later, on January 6. Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives charged the 19-year-old on Wednesday night. He will appear in the Bendigo Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
