There are three active coronavirus cases in regional Victoria, all residents of Greater Shepparton.
Premier Daniel Andrews said on Thursday morning that nine Victorians are in hospital receiving treatment for COVID-19, with none of those patients in intensive case.
Of the five new cases in Victoria since Wednesday, four are in Hume and one in Banyule.
Central Victoria has been without a COVID-19 cases for 23 days. The last active case was in the Macedon Ranges on September 29. Greater Bendigo's last active case was on September 24 - 28 days ago.

Five new coronavirus cases have been recorded in Victoria since Wednesday.
There have been no new deaths from COVID-19 reported since yesterday.
To date, 817 people have died from coronavirus in Victoria.
The Department of Health and Human Services' morning update revealed metropolitan Melbourne's 14-day rolling average to October 21 is 6.1.
The 14-day new case average in regional Victoria is 0.4.

There are 10 cases with unknown source in Victoria, all in metropolitan Melbourne.
DHHS posted an update on Wednesday evening advising residents of Melbourne's northern suburbs including Dallas, Roxburgh Park, Broadmeadows, Preston and West Heidelberg to present for testing if they are experiencing coronavirus symptoms.
The advice comes as a student who attended the East Preston Islamic College returned a positive test result.
"We need everyone working together to tackle this virus and that's exactly what the school community is doing," Mr Weimar said.
"Staff and students who are close contacts, and their households, have been identified and are quarantining for 14 days."

On Wednesday, regional Victoria had three active cases, all residents in the Greater Shepparton area.
Premier Daniel Andrews will speak to the media on Thursday morning, with the Department of Health and Human Service's updated case number by local government area expected on Thursday afternoon.
