The Art Major gelding racked up a third win from his past four starts with a courageous 2150m win at Lord's Raceway on Tuesday night.
Imnopumpkin continues to show a great affinity for Bendigo, winning his third race from five career starts on his home track.
After starting his career with Laura Crossland, Imnopumpkin has had nine of his 10 lifetime starts for Mifsud for four wins and two seconds.
Mifsud said her pacer thrived on plenty of spacing between his races, making the Breeders Crown heats, to be run at Bendigo on November 6, as an attractive option.
"He's doing very well and really seems to like the home track," she said.
"We do like to space his runs and that will be happening again. We have the Breeders Crown heats in about three weeks, so that's where we will be looking to go.
"We'll go there with some confidence. He went really well (on Tuesday) night. We couldn't be any happier with the horse, so we will see where it takes us.
"Hopefully he can get us to the final."
Imnopumpkin ($7.80) was confidently driven by Daniel Jack, who was able to lead from start to finish to hold out a pair of smart types in Betta Bopper ($2.90 favourite) and the in-form Major Jodi ($3).
The win delivered a timely morale boost to the Mifsud family after 'Aussie' Mifsud was hospitalised after a nasty race fall at Charlton on Monday.
Mary-Jane said her father remained at Bendigo Health with three fractured ribs.
The horse involved, Wonderforce, is showing no sign of injury.
Mifsud said easily the happiest person following Imnopumpkin's win was her son Charlie.
"He absolutely adores the horse. His stable name is Gilbert and he was named after Charlie's grandfather, who passed away about three years ago," she said.
"My son is only four-and-a-half, but does a lot with the horse - he brushes him and gets him ready for the races and feeds him.
"He does a great job with the horse.
"Imnopumpkin, one of the owners came up with that name - don't ask me how. But you can't lose him in the field with a name like that."
Mifsud will have two runners tonight (Wednesday) at Echuca, including Pearls For Tash, who is backing up after finishing third behind the Noela Kraft-trained Our Pontiac at Bendigo on Tuesday.
