Churches should be open
This is unfair. Do you not think people going to church would not respect the laws.

It makes no sense to allow people in pubs but not in Churches. People are suffering especially the vulnerable.
We need our churches open.

Save our parking bays
I am the principal of an accounting practice, which is situated within the shopping strip, at 505 Napier Street, White Hills.
Napier Street has recently been re-constructed.
Before construction commenced due process occurred so that all shop owners in the White Hills shopping strip and all relevant authorities had the opportunity to provide input during the preparation of the plans for the project.
Without any consultation whatsoever with the shop owners, Vic Roads now intends to re-locate a bus stop which will require the removal of these bays so that there will then be no bays remaining in Napier Street in the vicinity of the shopping strip.
I am surprised that the Department of Transport northern manager has not recognised that the replacement of the two bays with a bus stop will create a very dangerous situation.
The two bays are constantly used each day by residents of White Hills, Epsom and Huntly and are vital for the continued viability of all businesses in the White Hills shopping strip.
The affected shop owners in the White Hills shopping strip have had much to contend with recently including the Covid-19 pandemic, a two year disruption of their businesses during re-construction of Napier Street and the closure of the White Hills branch of the Bendigo Bank.
The removal of the two parking bays would have a detrimental effect on all businesses in the White Hills shopping strip.
I, therefore, urge Vic Roads to abandon its proposal to remove all parking bays in Napier Street, which presently serve the White Hills Shopping strip.
