Churches missing out
Why is it that our churches are not able to have indoor services whilst pubs are allowed tables of 10 indoors and not having to wear masks. This is not good enough.

Obviously Dan Andrews doesn't have compassion for the community who want to go to their Christian services and their Mass.
Get over yourself Dan Andrews and start thinking of the elderly.

Copper art
I know what the government can do about the copper wire that's no longer going to be used for the NBN.
They can give it to me and I will create a massive installation piece that I will donate to the National Gallery of Victoria.
I am sure a certain Mr Ellwood will be jumping out of his skin in a frenzy to receive it!

Manners gone missing
I have lived in Bendigo for roughly seven years and I have come to believe that its inhabitants are some of the ill-mannered I have come across.
No I am not just talking about young people, actually I have found it more in people 30-80 that are by far the worst.
What happened to a thank you when someone let's you through a door first or stands and waits for you to enter a shop so they then may leave?
I have sat back and put up with this for seven years and maybe it is a country thing as people tell me, myself coming from more metropolitan cities, but I have lived in much smaller, much more country locations then Bendigo and I am here to say, it's not a "country thing" - it's a Bendigo thing.
I was brought up to respect everyone, not just my elders. Manners are a universal skill that every person in every country and at every age can appreciate.
I think its time we look at ourselves and ask "what would i like in that situation" and do the right thing everyone, not occasionally.
Bria Tyack, Bendigo
Thank you Bendigo
I just wanted to say thank you to all the ground staff concerned with the marvelous tulip display this year at the Rosalind Park gardens.
Magnificent. It's not Floriade, but with a take away for lunch on a dismal day it was uplifting.
A big thank you. Well done.
