Members of Bendigo's Real Estate Institute of Victoria division, the only regional REIV branch, met this week ahead of the election of an eight member executive in November.

REIV Bendigo chair Tom Maher said the division has been crucial amid the coronavirus pandemic.
"The regional group allows the agents who are members to be aware of the latest rules and regulations," Mr Maher said.

Bendigo's REIV members haven't been able to meet with their Melbourne counterparts as often as previous years due to the pandemic.
Mr Maher said regular virtual catch-ups have strengthened the relationship between agents in regional Victoria and Melbourne.
"Past Bendigo REIV leaders have paved the way for the success of the current division, with their passion and professionalism."
The development of a Bendigo REIV division specifically for property management has been a great success, Mr Maher said.
"The property management group is able to talk through common issues and improve processes to achieve a better result for landlords and tenants."
