An 86-year-old man sustained minor injuries in a crash at Axe Creek on Thursday afternoon.
The man was travelling along Myrtle Creek Road when he collided with a boat trailer being towed by a ute on Axe Creek Road.
Leading Senior Constable Peter Dyer, from Bendigo Highway Patrol, said the collision occurred because of a failure to give way, but it appeared a medical condition was a factor.
He said a review of the man's licence would be undertaken to ensure it was safe for him to drive.
The 51-year-old driver of the ute was uninjured.
