The not-for-profit organisation announced on Tuesday it had raised a total of $14,184 from the first Bendigo's Biggest Takeaway event held between September 25 and 27.
Bendigo's Biggest Takeaway saw hospitality businesses including cafes, restaurants, bistros, pubs and takeaway venues help raise funds for the food relief organisation.

Funds raised will help support people suffering from food-poverty and who are in need of urgent food-relief.
Bendigo Foodshare also hoped the event would help drive more business to hospitality businesses who had been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
More than 40 businesses signed up to support the fundraising event.
"To see businesses so engaged, and some donating their own takings for the fundraiser is astonishing," Bendigo Foodshare manager Bridget Bentley said.
"It has been amazing to see such incredible camaraderie within the Bendigo business fraternity and fierce support and loyalty from the Bendigo community.
"The generous donations from the Bendigo community through our fundraiser during a time of such intense adversity was well and truly beyond our expectations. It truly is quite humbling."

Last year, Bendigo Foodshare provided food relief to 12,845 people across central Victoria. This year has seen a 40 per cent increase in people who need food-based assistance.
Peachy Coffee's Brit said her business was proud to be a part of the fundraiser.
"Knowing the financial situation most people are in and instead of asking the business to take money out of the sale but ask the customers to add on money, was a great way to raise money over the weekend," she said.
