SUPPLY should be restored to all properties affected by a fault affecting the Bendigo network, Powercor says.
Powercor and Ausnet are yet to confirm what caused the outages.
At its height, outages affected more than 25,000 customers.
In Goornong, 51 customers remain without power because of a planned outage.
Another 113 are listed as being without power around Spring Gully on the Powercor website. It is linked to a fault in Retreat Road.
Two are without power in West Bendigo because of a different fault.
POWERCOR has restored electricity to about 10,000 customers by rerouting power from around other parts of the network.
About 14,000 customers remain off of supply.
Powercor says restoration should take place over the rest of the morning.
NETWORK owner AusNet Services has confirmed it is investigating the widespread outages.
Powercor is still reporting tens of thousands of houses without power, but some residents are reporting their power has returned, sometimes after turning itself off and on several times.
POWERCOR says outages affecting more than 25,000 customers was caused by a fault on the transmission network.
That network is owned and operated by AusNet Services.
Powercor said it was now working with AusNet to restore power as safely and quickly as possible.
AustNet is being contacted for comment.
SOME of the homes that lost power this morning are back on the grid.
Elsewhere, several more areas outside Bendigo appear to have been added to Powercor's lost of properties experiencing issues.
However, Powercor says 51 properties in Goorning are being impacted by a planned outage.
It is not clear whether the outage is connected with the wider power loss, which Powercor continues to say is under investigation.
