The Bendigo Rowing Club's 2020 Sprint Regatta has been cancelled due to ongoing restrictions.

"Sadly, I have to confirm that the Bendigo Sprint Regatta will not be going ahead this year. Given that we are still only allowed to have a group of 10 on the water at one time and that Melbourne is still in lockdown, the committee has decided that we cannot go ahead at this point in time," the club posted on its Facebook page.
"We are not prepared to put our local community or our rowing community at risk. We look forward to seeing you all in the near future.
"Hopefully it won't be too much longer."
As regional Victorian entered the third step of the state government's roadmap, these are the current regulations in regards to rowing:
Club facilities
- Rowing clubs and training facilities can reopen
- Use of club toilets and change-rooms allowed
- Indoor training facilities not permitted
Training & numbers
- 18-and-under:
- Outdoor contact and non-contact
- Crew boats permitted
- No density for under-18
- Adults
- Crew boats permitted
- Maximum of 10 adults per club at one time
Competition
- Competition may resume for all ages, limitations TBC
- Spectators are allowed if they are supervising children or supporting players with additions needs, while maintaining gathering limits of less than ten people.
Training times and duration
- No time or frequency limit
Training radius
- No limit
