The under-16A and under-14A divisions will start on Saturday, October 31, with the under-12A division to commence the following day on November 1.
The remaining divisions will start a week later. The under-11s roll out on Friday, November 6; the under-14B and under-16B divisions start on November 7, with the under-12B age group on Sunday, November 8.
The decision to split the starting dates is to give clubs the best opportunity to become accustomed to Cricket Victoria's COVID-19 related return to play hygiene protocols.
The BDCA's intention is to run junior girls competitions in under-12 and under-16 age groups.
The BDCA is investigating the validity of the under-12 girls division being aligned with schools rather than clubs.
Both the under-12 girls and under-16 girls competitions are likely to be played midweek.
The under-16 boys midweek Twenty20 comeptition will continue this summer.
The BDCA has suggested clubs to use the midweek T20 league as a replacement for training to ease the pressure on meeting COVID-19 related training protocols.
Starting dates for all three midweek competititions are still to be decided.
The BDCA senior grades will start on the weekend of October 31-November 1.
