It also marks new BKC president Brett Arnett's first race meet in the top job, and he couldn't be more thrilled to see drivers hit the track.
"It's going to be a great day and the entries are slowly but surely coming in," Arnett said.
The plan is to see 50 racers hit the track throughout the day at Rochester's 778m clockwise circuit.
The clubs will hold another combined meet, this time at Bendigo, in a few weeks time on October 17.
Moving forward Arnett knows what he wants to achieve in his term as president of the BKC.
"I want to increase participation by making it easier for people to come up and try karting," he said.
"It's a little bit challenging with everything that's going on but when we can properly open up again that's the plan.
"After a few laps people will realise how fun it is, hopefully gain some interest in karting and join the club so we can grow to be bigger and better for the future."
Karting is in the blood of the Arnett family, with several members all solid racers behind the wheel.
Brett himself has been involved with the sport for decades and has experience racing at both a national and international level.
