THERE are still only three active COVID-19 cases in central Victoria.
Department of Health and Human Services data released on Wednesday showed one active coronavirus case listed in Greater Bendigo and two active cases in the Macedon Ranges.
There were no active cases in the Mount Alexander, Central Goldfields, Gannawarra, Campaspe, Loddon, and Buloke shires.

Premier Daniel Andrews confirmed there were only 14 active COVID-19 cases in regional Victoria.
A DHHS spokesperson said the average number of cases diagnosed in the past 14 days for regional Victoria was 1.1.
The local government area breakdown came after the state recorded 15 new COVID-19 cases and another five deaths on Wednesday.

Premier Daniel Andrews confirmed that there were just 14 active cases of COVID-19 in regional Victoria, as of Wednesday morning.
A local breakdown of case numbers is due to be published later this afternoon.
In total there are 554 active cases across the state, including Melbourne.

Mr Andrews clarified that people living in metropolitan Melbourne are allowed to work in regional areas.
Those workers, Mr Andrews said, need to have a permit and need to continue to follow the rules in place in Melbourne while in a regional area.
For example, the worker would not be allowed to eat a a restaurant in regional Victoria. They were encouraged to travel to work and then return home to Melbourne.
The government has also announced a $21.3 million funding boost for community mental health, and alcohol and drug services.
The money will be used to allow the services to reopen safely, and ensure staff work from a single office, rather than travelling between sites.

Victoria has recorded 15 new COVID-19 cases since Tuesday.
A further five deaths have been announced, with 771 people dying from coronavirus in Victoria.
The average number of cases diagnosed in the last 14 days in regional Victoria remained unchanged on Tuesday, at 1.6.
The Department of Health and Human Services will provide a breakdown of the number of new and active cases by local government area on Wednesday afternoon.
There were no new cases of COVID-19 recorded in regional Victoria on Tuesday, Premier Daniel Andrews said.
There are three active cases in central Victoria - one in Greater Bendigo and two in the Macedon Ranges Shire.
Mount Alexander, Campaspe, Central Goldfields, Loddon and Gannawarra shires are free of active cases.
The Buloke Shire has yet to record a coronavirus case.
