AVID readers have been able to get their hands on a wider selection of books thanks to Goldfields Libraries' Reserve and Collect program.

The program returned at Bendigo Library last week. Manager Kath Waugh said there had been a steady list of reservations.
Since September 14, 6433 books have been borrowed from Goldfields Libraries branches including 2137 from Bendigo.

"We're not open for browsing but we do everything we can to get you something you will like to read," she said.
"People can ring us or book things online. If you do like to browse, you can tell us authors you like and we can create a package for you."
Ahead of the second lockdown in August, almost a third of the library's collection was borrowed.
The library has also expanded its online program with the ever-popular Storytime going online alongside other digital programs.
"Our online school holiday program is available with things to download and print off," Ms Waugh said. "We are still other activities and online programs for adults."
