At this stage it remains unclear when restrictions on indoor sports facilities will be lifted.
"We've got to wait for the next stage in the roadmap and for the state to have no new cases for two weeks before we can have 20 people back in the stadium," BDTTA president Gary Warnest said.
"While we've been waiting we have been very busy behind the scenes.
"We've just installed new LED lighting throughout the stadium and we're all quite excited to play under them once we're allowed to come back.
"The light project had been in the works for around three years so it has been the ideal time to get stuff like this done."
At this stage the pennant season has been postponed in hopes that the BDTTA will be able to conclude the competition by the end of the year.
"If we can get back to action by a date that will allow us to finish the season we will play it out, otherwise we might have to cancel it and just allow social play," Warnest said.
Above all the BDTTA's main focus is to get back to action as soon as possible and give all of its members the opportunity to do what they love the most, play table tennis.
