Bendigo residents took full advantage of regional Victoria's eased restrictions at the weekend.
Leaving lockdown meant people could gather outdoors in groups of 10, restaurants and cafes could host up to 50 people in outdoor areas and community sport could return for children.
From Friday night when venues opened their outdoor areas and musicians returned to entertain punters eager for an after work drink, to the sunny days spent in the city's parks and gardens, there was no shortage of people enjoying the Bendigo region.
In the city's Conservatory Gardens, tulips came in to Bloom with Carmen and Lola White, and Rhonda Trevean stopping to enjoy a picnic on Saturday.
The warm weather also encouraged people to find shade and a cool drink at many of the eateries dotted along Pall Mall.
A cool change at the the of the week might not even be enough to stop people getting out to support local business and socialise face-to-face with their friends.
Bendigo is expecting a possible shower and top of 15 degrees next Saturday.
