Marong, Raywood, Axedale and Sebastian are next in line to receive digital water use loggers, with installation due to begin in the coming weeks. Bendigo is set to follow.
Since 2018 Coliban Water has installed more than 25,000 digital data loggers on water meters throughout the region.
OTHER NEWS:
These record water use every hour, sending data back to the organisation daily.
Infrastructure manager Corey Bourne said the devices meant leaks could be detected and acted on quickly.
Mr Bourne said on top of the school, the data loggers had found a home using 15,000 litres of water a day.
He said without the technology these leaks wouldn't have been identified until the next bill.
Coliban Water's goal is to have all loggers installed and operating by 2023.
