Police said they believe the car was travelling "at speed" when the driver lost control on a bend along Strickland Street shortly after 6pm.
A back seat passenger, 24, suffered a suspected broken pelvis and was taken to the Bendigo Hospital.
He was trapped in the vehicle for 30 minutes.
The 30-year-old driver was also taken to hospital.
A second passenger ran from the scene and was found injured nearby.
Police said they expected to charge the driver, pending the results of a blood test.
