Health insurance rip-off?
While many Australians are facing severe financial hardship and a depressing economic outlook, our health insurance companies are having a bumper year.
The long cancellation of elective surgeries and the public's general reluctance to present to doctors with health complaints has lead to reduced payouts from health insurers.
Health insurers have also been able to save money by negotiating down on office rental agreements and putting staff on the JobKeeper allowance.
During this time income for health insurance companies is the same as last year; minus those members who have opted-out in disgust.
If we all do this then they will have to comply.

Pubs need to do more
I believe more live streaming festivals and gigs should be put on by pubs.
There needs to be more training on how to use social media for pub managers.
Because every pub almost has the opportunity to put on live gigs.
It's all about building a community.
Like Isol-aid music festival use instagram, pubs should be using Facebook Live Stream to broadcast online music to the community.
I don't know why this has not happened yet.
Maybe because people are not sure how to utilise the technology.
It can be tough and it is tough.
I believe live streaming will help raise awareness of merchandise for musicians, but pub owners do need to put there finger out and try something new.
It works both ways.
