The 24 hectare burn, at Lake Boort, will begin on Tuesday, September 8, and is expected to end on Friday, September 11.
Residents in the Boort area may see smoke from this burn until Sunday. People are advised to close doors and windows to prevent smoke entering their homes.
Anyone experiencing smoke-related symptoms should seek medical advice.
Drivers in the area may experience low visibility due to smoke on the roads. Obey all traffic signs and instructions from fire agency crews near the burn.
