The Bureau of Meteorology warned that damaging winds, averaging 50 to 60 kilometres per hour with peaks gusts of around 100km/h are possible over elevated areas of central and western Victoria.
Locations affected include Daylesford, Bacchus Marsh and Ballarat.

The State Emergency Service advised people to check loose items like outdoor settings, umbrellas, and trampolines to ensure they were safely secured.
Vehicles should also be moved under cover or away from trees.
The SES also advised people to stay indoors and away from windows, and to pull over away from trees, drains, and floodwater if driving conditions became dangerous.
The damaging winds are forecast to ease below warning threshold over the south west and Wimmera districts by dawn on Tuesday.
