John Diaper hopes someone can help shed light on how soldiers including Bendigo's Percival Reuben Carne, who gave his address as 12 Lucan Street in 1916.
Carne was among soldiers who volunteered for the 7th battalion and was one of a number of Australian soldiers who wrote in the diary, Mr Diaper said.
More news:
"They were written by recovering soldiers.Some have addresses some have just battalion details. So I have a bit of digging to do."
