Ms Stork said she was proud of her achievements in the past three years including work on the Statement of Planning Policy and Hanging Rock Strategic Plan.
Mayor Janet Pearce said council appreciated Ms Stork's energy, commitment and focused work.

"We acknowledge Ms Stork's leadership as a true innovative and progressive thinker," Cr Pearce said.
"She is respected across the region, at all levels of government and has inspired many in the sector.
"Ms Stork has reshaped council to be a stronger organisation looking to the future, and the breadth and depth of her achievements is a credit to her."
Plans for the CEO position will be announced at a later date.
