TWO new COVID-19 cases have been recorded in Greater Bendigo.
Data released from the Department of Health and Human Services on Saturday showed 102 cases have been listed in Greater Bendigo since the pandemic started, an increase from 100 on Friday.
The number of active cases in Greater Bendigo has also increased to 16.
One new case was also recorded in the Macedon Ranges on Saturday, bringing the total number of cases to 58. The number of active cases in the municipality remained steady at eight cases.
Another new case was also listed in the Campaspe Shire, bringing the number of active cases in that region to three.
The Mount Alexander Shire had one less case listed in its total case numbers on Saturday. There were no active cases in the region.
A DHHS spokesperson said numbers were subject to change as cases were followed up and data was analysed.

There were no changes to coronavirus case numbers in the Buloke, Gannawarra, or Loddon shires.
There are 28 active coronavirus cases in central Victoria.
The local government area breakdown came after health authorities alerted the public to three new COVID-19 cases in Rochester on Friday.
Rochester and Elmore District Health Service Karen Laing said the cases were confined to the same household and the risk of the virus being exposed to the community was low.
The Public Health Unit Bendigo on Friday also said a clinician from Healthworks Healthcare in Kangaroo Flat tested positive to COVID-19.
The clinician worked at the Kangaroo Flat site during their infectious period.
The unit advised that any patient who had an appointment with the clinician on August 25 was considered a close contact.
The Public Health Unit Bendigo was contacting all close contacts.

THERE has been one new COVID-19 case in Greater Bendigo, Premier Daniel Andrews says.
Mr Andrews told his press briefing on Saturday that there were 16 active coronavirus cases in Greater Bendigo, an increase of one from the 15 active cases on Friday.
The Department of Health and Human Services is yet to release its Saturday COVID-19 case breakdown for local government areas.
Mr Andrews said there were 177 active coronavirus cases in regional Victoria.

"They are low," he said. "We want to keep them low and drive them down even further. So thank you to everybody in regional Victoria.
"From regional cities to the smallest of country towns, doing an absolutely magnificent job in following the rules.
"I know it is difficult, I know it is challenging, but it is working. This strategy is absolutely working, with just 177 cases."
It came after DHHS confirmed 94 new COVID-19 cases had been recorded in Victoria on Saturday - the lowest daily increase since July 5.
Another 18 people have died from coronavirus in the state. Mr Andrews said 16 of those deaths were linked to aged care settings.
There are 481 Victorians in hospital, with 26 of those people receiving intensive care. Mr Andrews said 17 of those people in intensive care were on a ventilator.

There were 18,114 COVID-19 tests taken across the state in the past 24 hours. Mr Andrews said those testing numbers were promising.
"Thank you to each and every one of those people who came forward and got tested," he said.
"We ask of all Victorians, regardless of where you live, if you have even the mildest of symptoms please come forward and get tested as soon as those symptoms begin. Then remain at home while you wait for your test result.
"That gives us the most complete picture of where the virus is, the levels at which device is operating. It gives us the data we need in order to plan for the future and make decisions about opening up."
