It bring the state's total number of COVID-19 cases 18,613.
New data also shows 24 people died as a result of coronavirus since Tuesday.
It is the highest number of COVID-19 deaths since August 17 when there were 25.

It comes as the state approaches three weeks of stage three restrictions in regional areas. Melbourne is into its fourth week of stage four restrictions.
It comes after Victoria's new case numbers rose on Tuesday after a dip.
A total 148 new cases were reported across the state and eight deaths.
Monday's new case total, 116, was the lowest the state had seen since early July.
Tuesday's new case number of 148 remained lower than it had been since July.
Two new COVID-19 cases were reported in Greater Bendigo on Tuesday.

But the number of active cases in the municipality dropped to 23 on Tuesday, suggesting some people may have recovered.
It brought the total number of cases in Greater Bendigo across all time to 99.
