Greater Bendigo's number of active COVID-19 cases has decreased further.
Victorian premier Daniel Andrews said Bendigo has 25 active cases - down two from Thursday's total of 27.
Regional communities in Victoria now have 269 active cases.
Across the state there were 176 coronavirus cases recorded in the past 24 hours but while the decrease was welcome, Mr Andrews warned against becoming complacent.

"The numbers are falling and or stable and relate to principally larger outbreaks," he said. "We should see those numbers come down further but we don't want any sense of complacency.
"The numbers low and trending in the right direction but people should still come forward and get test if they are showing symptoms."
Mr Andrews said the numbers were dropping quicker than he anticipated.
"While tomorrow's numbers are for tomorrow, we are all pleased to see a one in front of the additional case numbers (from today," he said. "It is a little quicker than I thought it might be. (Next) Wednesday marks three weeks since the most significant workplace restrictions were put in place.
"It shows Victorians, in a vast majority, are doing a mighty job in following the rules and limiting the spread of this wildly infectious virus.
"I want to thank everyone from all parts of state, no matter your background. More and more Victorians making the best choices and looking out for each other.
"There is no room for complacency and we can't assume this is over. It's an ultra-marathon and we're not halfway yet."
Mr Andrews also announced a Victorian Disability Response Centre will be set up.
"It is an extension of the existing arrangement," he said. "The state and fed government agreed to set up the Victorian disability response centre.
"It is mirroring what have in place for aged care to make sure we have a rapid response to protect vulnerable Victorians."

Victoria's daily number of new coronavirus cases has decreased overnight with 176 recorded.
It is the first time the state has seen daily cases under 200 since July 13 when the Department of Health and Human Services recorded 177 cases.
There were also nine deaths overnight. The COVID-19 death tolls is now 388 since the pandemic began.
The state's total number of coronavirus cases now stands at 17,865 since the pandemic began.
Greater Bendigo recorded five new cases on Thursday but active cases dropped from 38 to 27.
The Macedon Ranges recorded on new case while other central Victorian municipalities - Mount Alexander, Campaspe, Central Goldfields, Loddon, Gannawarra and Buloke have remained unchanged.
Mount Alexander Shire is now reporting no active cases while Campaspe has one.
On Thursday, Victoria's deputy chief health officer Allen Cheng said the process of removing an active case involved a case interview with a trained health professional.
"It is to make sure a patient's symptoms have cleared and enough time has lapsed from the start of their illness to be released from isolation," he said.

"For patients with ongoing symptoms or more severe disease, they require additional swabs."
