COVID-19 cases in Greater Bendigo have reduced from 38 to 27 in the past day, after peaking at 56 a week ago.
Dr Alfy Ordukaya from Strathfieldsaye's MyDoc Healthcare opened a drive through COVID-19 testing clinic last week and said testing is lower this week compared to last.

"It has been on the slower side this week and I think that is across all sites," Dr Ordukaya said.
"Last week was higher, but the reason why, we are just speculating.
"It could be because people have already been tested, but the overall trend is downward."
From July 27 to August 3, Bendigo Health recorded 3727 COVID-19 tests.
In the two subsequent weeks, those figures have fallen to 3350 and 2121 across its walk-in and drive through clinics.
The average number of tests at the appointment-only Bendigo Respiratory Clinic in Spring Gully is also trending downward.
In early August, the clinic reported an average of 100 to 110 tests per day.
Those figures have halved to 50 to 60 tests per day.
Dr Ewa Piejko works at the Bendigo Respiratory Clinic and urged people with symptoms to present for testing.
"We have seen a significant downward trend in testing numbers at the clinic," Dr Piejko said.
"To stop the spread of the virus, people with even mild symptoms of respiratory infection should present for testing."

The decline in testing figures has coincided with a week where Bendigo's active cases have more than halved.
There are 295 active cases in regional Victoria, with Premier Daniel Andrews encouraging those in the regions, particularly Bendigo, Ballarat and Geelong, to continue to get tested, if symptomatic.
"Even if you have the mildest of symptoms, please come forward as soon as you experience the onset of symptoms," Mr Andrews said.
A Bendigo Health spokesperson said the health service encourages the community to get tested if they have symptoms, which include; fever, sore throat, shortness of breath, a runny nose and loss or changes in taste and smell.
Statewide, there are 2291 fewer active cases than a day ago, following a flurry of interviews with infected people, to determine whether or not they were still unwell.
Deputy chief health officer Allen Cheng outlined the process of how an active case is released from isolation.
"It involves a case interview with a trained health processional to make sure a patient's symptoms have cleared and enough time has lapsed from the start of their illness," Professor Cheng said.
Not all people who have tested positive to COVID-19 would be retested once they were fit and well, Professor Cheng said.
Bendigo Health operates a drive through testing clinic at Mercy Street and a walk-in clinic at Stewart Street seven days a week.
