Sacrifice, doing without, is no longer a concept to be found in the language of most of the people around me.

The hand is extended 24/7 for taxpayer-funded handouts or bail outs.

The obscene "Culture of Entitlement" prevails.

To the ruination of our society - both morally and financially.

I fear for future generations with their country "groaning" under huge budget deficits and exploding foreign debt.

Deficits and debt which are no guarantee to get us out of the deepening economic hole we are in, per courtesy of the Chinese export, Coronavirus.

And which will impoverish generations to come.

I had a bad pokie addiction and I have lost everything and more including family and friends money as well.

But I, and thousands of people in Australia since the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak have had to go cold turkey.

I will say that I have had the chance to get my life back on track since I have not played them since March!

I was on Centrelink for the last two years and recently got a casual job, and a cheap second hand car and money for fuel.

These things don't sound like much but it's massive in my world.

I thank you very much!

I'm sorry to hear about so many people who have died, or had lost loved ones to this disgusting disease.

My heart goes out to you all.
