The total number of virus cases in Greater Bendigo since the pandemic started rose by four, to 84. But the number of active cases dropped by two, to 54.
Cases rose by one in the Macedon Ranges, with 53 confirmed since the start of the pandemic and 32 currently active in the region.
There are 91 active cases of the virus in the region.
Mount Alexander has two active cases, with 10 cases confirmed since the start of the pandemic.
Campaspe has two active cases. Seven cases have been attributed to the shire since the virus broke out.
Central Goldfields has one active case. The shire has a record of two cases.
There are no cases active in Loddon or Gannawarra shires.
Buloke shire has yet to record a single case of COVID-19.
Premier Daniel Andrews has urged people in Bendigo, Ballarat and Geelong to get tested for even minor symptoms, expressing concern about regional cases.
But he and Chief Health Officer, Professor Brett Sutton were today hopeful about the state's COVID-19 data.
