Forest Fire Management Victoria and CFA will conduct the burn between 10am on Thursday and 8pm on Friday.
The cultural burn will be Mysia-Old Boort Road, 2.9 kilomters south west of Mysia and will be 7.6 hectares in size.
Nearby residents may see smoke Mysia and Borung. Anyone experiencing any symptoms that may be due to smoke exposure should seek medical advice.
Roads in the are may be hazardous due to low visibility from smoke. Drivers should follow all traffic signs and instructions from fire agency crews near the burn.
Access to walking tracks, car parks, camping grounds and picnic sites in areas close to or in burn areas may be restricted.
