In a social media post the organisation said contact tracers in Bendigo's Public Health Unit had struggled to contact some businesses out of hours.
Bendigo Health requested businesses provide an out-of-hours contact, or a diversion, on their answering machines, given the importance of these calls.

Alternatively, the post stated businesses could provide a contact number to Be.Bendigo which would be kept strictly confidential.
This would only be used to support the Public Health Unit in Bendigo, the post said.
Bendigo Health's contact tracing team has been tasked with tracing positive COVID-19 cases throughout the Loddon Mallee region.
The 12 member team contacts any positive cases, to find out as much detail as possible, including close and casual contacts.
Bendigo Health recently warned that COVID-19 positive residents had been out in the community, saying everyone needed to take the virus seriously.
