BENDIGO police are investigating after a stolen car was set on fire in Maiden Gully.

Emergency services were called to the blaze on Syrah Court about 3.20am on Wednesday.
Neighbours woke up to see the car alight and notified police.
Acting Sergeant Anthony Johnson said the fire was suspicious as the car was listed as stolen.

Acting Sergeant Johnson said anyone who saw or heard anything should contact the Bendigo Police Station on 5448 1300 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
