WITH a tally of 267, Bridgewater's Alex Collins has been the Loddon Valley league's most prolific goalkicker over the past eight seasons.

Spanning 2012-19, Collins is one of just four Loddon Valley league players to have kicked more than 200 goals through that period.

Collins' most productive year through the timespan came in the Mean Machine's 2013 premiership season when he booted 109 goals, including seven in Bridgewater's grand final win over Bears Lagoon-Serpentine when he was awarded the best-on-ground medal.

Collins has kicked goals in 63 games for the Mean Machine during the period, with his tally of 267 including 26 hauls of five-plus, with a best bag of 10 against YCW in round 15 of 2013.

Collins, who last played for the Mean Machine in 2017 - a season in which he kicked 76 goals - edges out another former Bridgewater spearhead as the league's top goalkicker since 2012.

Filling the No.2 spot is the Mean Machine's Brad Rohde.

Rohde, one of the four players to have played in all seven of Bridgewater's consecutive flags between 2010 and 2016, kicked 259 goals for the Mean Machine between 2012 and his last game with the club in 2018.

Included in those 259 goals are 26 bags of at least five, while his tally of 74 games with at least one goal kicked is the equal most in the competition since 2012 with Bears Lagoon-Serpentine's Cody Gunn.

The crafty Gunn ranks third on the goalkicking table since 2012 with 240, while the only other player with more than 200 has been former Mitiamo coach Justin Maddern with 219.

There's then a significant gap back to another of the competition's former coaches, Pyramid Hill's Paul Grayling, with 161 goals.

Across the eight seasons 865 players kicked at least one goal in the LVFL seniors, with the biggest day out by a forward coming in round five of 2014 when Newbridge's Rhys Ford booted 15 in a 121-point win over Inglewood.

In total since 2012 there have been 15,236 goals kicked in the Loddon Valley league across 624 games.
