The decision was made after a recent spike in cases throughout Bendigo and the region at multiple schools.
"Due to recent announcements over the positive result in the Bendigo area. The Bendigo Basketball Association in consultation with Bendigo Stadium are taking a proactive step to suspend all Paul Gray Builders Domestic Competition games being played tonight along with training. Wednesday 29th July 2020," BBA said in a statement.
"We are still adhering to all the advice from the "Chief Health Officer" and "DHHS". The following link will assist you in current restrictions within Victoria and Basketball Victoria's restriction levels."
"Pending advice Friday Nights Competition will be reviewed. We will aim to provide an update by Friday Lunch time. Thank you for your understanding and patience."
