BENDIGO LEAGUE
SANDHURST's impressive form in the Addy Iso-Season for the Bendigo league continued on Saturday as the Dragons took down a fellow top-five side for the second week in a row.
Having inflicted arch-rival Golden Square's first loss of the season last week, the Dragons outlasted Eaglehawk by eight points at Canterbury Park, 12.13 (85) to 11.11 (77).
While the win further strengthens Sandhurst's premiership credentials, Eaglehawk is now a concerning 0-6 against sides currently in the top five.
Kyneton has strung together back-to-back wins after following up last week's victory over Maryborough with a 73-point hiding of bottom side Castlemaine at Camp Reserve.
Golden Square was slow out of the blocks against Gisborne at Wade Street, but dominated its Bulldogs rivals after half-time, turning a 21-point deficit at the main break into a 35-point win.
In other round 15 games, Strathfieldsaye belted Kangaroo Flat by 91 points at Dower Park to extend its winning streak to eight and South Bendigo handed Maryborough an 80-point hiding at the QEO.

HEATHCOTE DISTRICT
North Bendigo emerged victorious by 11 points against Leitchville-Gunbower in their Heathcote District league blockbuster.
Both teams had gone into the keenly-anticipated clash at Gunbower on six-game winning streaks and for much of the day the game was in the balance.
But it was the Bulldogs who had the answers late, kicking the final two goals of the game to clinch a hard-fought 13.11 (89) to 11.12 (78) victory and move a step closer to locking up a top-of-the-ladder finish.
White Hills breathed life back into its season.
Having lost their previous seven games the Demons proved too strong for Elmore, winning by 35 points.
