A woman will face Melbourne Magistrates Court on Thursday, charged following a collision in Murphy's Creek in 2019.

In a statement on Wednesday night, police said a 67-year-old woman from Hampton East has been charged with dangerous driving causing serious injury following the collision that occurred on August 10.

"A 54-year-old man from Hillcrest was seriously injured in the collision that occurred on Dunolly-Rheola Road about 3.50pm," a spokeswoman said.
The road is between St Arnaud and Bendigo. At the time, reports said a Nhill woman was also injured in the crash, but this was not mentioned in Wednesday night's release.
The Hampton East woman will appear for a filing hearing.
