Three people have been arrested after evading police on the Calder Freeway on Tuesday night.
A police helicopter was brought in to assist in locating a car that had been evading police.
Central Victorian Response Unit Sergeant Luke Kinder said police had attempted to intercept a car travelling at high speeds near Elphinstone.
"(The vehicle) evaded police and was monitored by the air wing and located in North Bendigo," he said.
"As a result three people were taken into custody. Two will front the magistrates court today."
The two people appearing in court will face charges relating to driving, evading police and possessing a drug of dependence."
