BENDIGO Health has confirmed one of its staff members has tested positive to COVID-19.
The hospital could not say whether the two cases were linked.
The hospital confirmed the worker was one of the three new active cases recorded in Greater Bendigo on Thursday.

A CITY of Greater Bendigo staff member has tested posted to COVID-19.
The city's chief executive Craig Niemann said the city was notified of the positive test result.
"The city has provided all necessary information to the Department of Health and Human Services to support broader contact tracing," Mr Niemann said.
"The city's workplaces where this staff member has been have been cleaned thoroughly.

"The city has taken all measures to support the staff member and we wish them a speedy recovery."
A city spokesperson said no offices or services were closed as a result of the positive test.
It comes after Greater Bendigo recorded three new coronavirus cases on Thursday.
The new diagnoses bring the total number of active cases within Greater Bendigo to four.
There were 165 new COVID-19 diagnoses confirmed in Victoria on Thursday.
There are now 932 active cases in Victoria.
