COMMUNITY EVENTS
SOCIAL RIDE
Join in with the Castlemaine Rocky Riders and explore some of the region's attractions.
The ride will be out on The Pineys trails and feature steep climbs, tree roots and rock features. This ride is better suited to those with technical skills; however, there will be a slower-paced group too.
Groups will have up to 20 riders.
Assembly at 9.30am at the Theatre Royal to ride out to Colles Road as a warm up.
This ride will take about two and a half to three hours to complete. Please bring own food, water and spare parts if needed.
A Mountain Bike Australia day licence can be bought on the day for $10.

FOSTER CARE INFORMATION SESSION
Have you thought about fostering a child? Can you offer them what they need?
Join in for this foster care information session and learn about what you can do to help children in need.
More carers are needed for emergency, long term and short term care situations.
Carers can be male, female, single, in a relationship, working or at home full-time. There will be ongoing training and support 24 hours a day.

SCHOOL HOLIDAYS
DECORATING WORKSHOP
Head along to Bendigo Pottery and create your own little masterpiece these school holidays.
For $25, you can learn how to paint a plate, mug or bowl and fire it up for every day use.
Workshops run weekdays during the school holidays with sessions at 11am, 1pm and 2.30pm.

RENEWABLE ENERGY ART AWARD
The DELWP Loddon Mallee Renewable Energy Art Award is an exhibition that showcases a more sustainable future for the Loddon Mallee communities.
Created by artists from across the region, this exhibition will ask you the question of how does renewable energy future look to you?
The exhibition is aimed to inspire and gain awareness.

PLAY AT HOME: THE RATTLERS
The Bendigo Blues and Roots Music Festival proudly presents The Rattlers.
The Rattlers tell stories of being on the road in rural Australia, through folk music and this performance will be shared as part of Play at Home through the Blues and Roots festival.

AG ART 2000-2020
The Elmore Field Days Ag Art competition has been challenging central Victorian designers during the past 20 years with the aim of creating a garment from materials found on farms.
These everyday farming items are transformed into wearable outfits that are showcased and modelled on a catwalk at the Elmore Field Days.
The garments include materials such as wrap, chicken wire, hay bands, tractor tubing and much more.
2019 was the last year the competition would run.
This exhibition celebrates the winners, highlights and creations from the Elmore Field Days AgArt competitions.

ROSS TAYLOR: FIELD NOTES
Field notes presents a new body of work by central Victorian artist Ross Taylor.
Ross Taylor is a Kyneton based artist who relocated to Australia from the UK in 2009.
This exhibition explores the landscape, history, people and architecture of central Victoria and how it has shaped through time.

MANY STORY TREEHOUSE EXHIBITION
The Many Story Treehouse Exhibition celebrates Terry Denton's illustrations for the Treehouse series by Andy Griffiths.
This exhibition showcases original illustrations and sketches, and the development of ideas, characters and stories for the Treehouse series.
