The Department of Health and Human Services classifies cases by local government area based on the residential address provided when the case was notified.
That address is not necessarily where the case currently resides or where the person was infected.
Cases are considered 'active' when someone has tested positive, is in isolation, has yet to recover and is being monitored by the department.
