Firefighters were called to the scene after the dark coloured sedan crashed into a tree in Kirkwood Road, at the intersection of Trumble Street.
Police are yet to locate the driver of the car and are yet to discover whether it is stolen or not.
Firefighters have made the intersection safe.
Paramedics were called to the scene but were not needed.
