A previously active Campaspe case is no longer being classed as such. The total number of the shire's confirmed COVID-19 cases remains at five.
Statistics for other central Victorian local government areas remain stable, with a total of nine confirmed cases in the Macedon Ranges; six in Mount Alexander shire; one in Central Goldfields; three in Loddon; and two in Gannawarra.
Buloke has yet to record a case.
The total number of cases attributed to the region since the outbreak of COVID-19 is now 35.
The new active case is believed to be the first to be associated with Greater Bendigo since active case data started being released in May.

The Department of Health and Human Services defines 'active' cases as someone who has tested positive, is in isolation, has yet to recover and is being monitored by the department.
Cases are allocated to local government areas based on the residential address provided when a case was notified.
Infection might not have occurred at that address, and it might not reflect where the case currently resides.
There is no COVID-19 patient in the Bendigo Hospital.
It comes after Bendigo Health raised concerns people in the Bendigo area might be letting their guard down, after recording at least 80 cases of the virus associated with the common cold in a week.
"If people are getting and spreading a common cold virus in Bendigo, they can also spread COVID-19," Bendigo Health said.
Bendigo Respiratory Clinic had also been seeing cases of rhinovirus.
