BENDIGO LEAGUE
SANDHURST produced a dominant four-quarter performance to record the biggest win of the Addy Iso-Season for the Bendigo League on Saturday.
In the first game of the season decided by a triple-figure margin, the Dragons put Maryborough to the sword at Princes Park in a 108-point victory, 23.18 (156) to 7.6 (48).
The Dragons' commanding win, which improved their record to 9-2, headlined a one-sided round 11 where the closest result was the 40 points the undefeated Golden Square beat Kyneton by at the Showgrounds.
Having been the team Kyneton broke through for its first win against last week, Gisborne again struggled after being jumped early by Strathfieldsaye and going down to the Storm by 59 points at Tannery Lane.
The Bulldogs are still in the top five, but only one game now clear of South Bendigo after the Bloods disposed of Castlemaine by 54 points at the QEO.
The Bloods have now won four of their past six, but are set to face top-five teams in their next three games.
In the final match of the round Eaglehawk belted Kangaroo Flat by 83 points.
