Gisborne star Jordan Barham led the Bulldogs to a big win over Castlemaine.
Barham booted 10 goals from 15 shots for Gisborne in its 25.15 (165) to 10.6 (66) win over Castlemaine at Gardiner Reserve.
Barham's haul of 10 followed the nine goals he kicked against Kangaroo Flat the previous week.
Barham's 10 goals was the most by a Bulldogs' player since Casey Summerfield booted 10 against Sandhurst in round 18, 2006.
''Jordan's game was very good; he virtually marked everything and he is kicking a lot straighter,'' Gisborne coach Marcus Barham said of his younger brother.
''He's a class player and he's going to be a very hard player for the opposition to match up on in the coming weeks.''
Magpies coach Jamie Elliott tried three opponents on Barham, starting with Orry Cross.
''When Gisborne started kicking the ball well to Jordan, he was just very hard to stop,'' Elliott said.
Gisborne led by 25 points at quarter-time, but put the game out of the Magpies' reach in the second term when it slammed on 10.4 to 5.3
against the wind to go into halftime with a 56-point buffer.
''Castlemaine got within two goals of us in the second quarter, and in the first half of the year when sides challenged us they either took the game away from us or slowed the game down,'' Marcus Barham said.
''But today when we were challenged we put the pedal down and we proved that we can play good footy when challenged.''
Along with Jordan Barham's 10 goals, Darren Farrugia (four), Tristan James (three) and Marcus Barham (three) all made the most of their opportunities.
James' three goals all came in the first 10 minutes of the game, before a dislocated shoulder that will sideline him for eight weeks forced him from the ground.
In a further blow, reigning Michelsen medallist Matt Fitzgerald didn't play after half-time after suffering a corked calf.
Jordan Barham, wingman Gareth Bowes and defenders Cameron Medica, Anthony Belcher and Rod Sharp were the Bulldogs' best.
Castlemaine also had its injury concerns with Guy Marshall hurting his ribs in the first quarter.
Leonard McNamara, who tagged Ollie Messaoudi, captain James O'Brien, who had more than 30 possessions, and key forward Jason Cordy, who was dangerous early, battled hard for the Magpies.

MARYBOROUGH v SOUTH BENDIGO
South Bendigo had to fight hard for victory in its clash at Maryborough's Princes Park.
Despite being rocked by injuries to several key players, Maryborough took the contest right up to the in-form Bloods.
The third quarter was to be where the Bloods won the contest.
In front by just nine points after a hard-fought opening half, South Bendigo took control in the third quarter.
Led by the play of Aaron Connaughton, Jackson Ireland, Coburn and Gavin Bowles, the Bloods dominated the centre breaks.
South's goal-rush included three goals by Brad Rodhe, two by captain John Hardinge and another by the classy Zac East after he spun out of a tackle.
The Bloods suffered a major blow when full-forward Dayne Frew limped off after injuring his ankle in a contest.
Bloods' coach Rick Coburn said it was never easy playing Maryborough on its home turf.
''Workrate was always going to be really important. Our first half was not that great,'' Coburn said.
''To the boys' credit they responded to the challenge and kicked six goals to nil in the third quarter.''
Although disappointed not to have won, Fisher praised the effort of all 21 who lined up for the Pies.
''We were not at our strongest today, but the effort was terrific,'' Fisher said of being without key players such as Matthew Brown, Adam Hurse, Glenn Chadwick and Matthew Bilton.

EAGLEHAWK v KYNETON
Eaglehawk handed bottom side Kyneton a football lesson in its 174-point demolition of the Tigers at Canterbury Park.
The Tigers were competitive in the first term, only trailing by 12 points at quarter-time.
However, the Hawks put their foot down in the second quarter on their way to a 31.21 (207) to 4.9 (33) victory to remain undefeated after 10 rounds, while the Tigers are still to register a win.
The Hawks produced some of their best footy of the season in the second quarter when they slammed on 13.3 to 1.2 to go into halftime leading by 85 points.
Leading 16.8 to 2.7 at halftime, the Hawks never let up in the second half as they added a further 15.13 to 2.2.
The win lifted the Hawks' percentage from 160.88 to 182.31 and they have now taken over the mantle from South Bendigo as the highest scoring side this season.
The Hawks had 13 goalkickers, nine of whom kicked multiples.
''I was really happy with the way we went about it,'' coach Derrick Filo said.
''I was happy with the way we shared the ball and our accountability, so it was a fairly good day for us.''
Kyneton was best served by talented youngster Jackson Garvey-Hawke, who played a mix of wing and onball, captain Darren Chambers, who kept Filo to one goal, and Chad Walker in attack or midfield.

KANGAROO FLAT v GOLDEN SQUARE
Premiership contender Golden Square proved too strong for a plucky Kangaroo Flat 17.15 (117) to 11.11 (77) at Dower Park.
The Roos were left with just 20 men when Andrew Gladman was stretchered off the ground after being concussed during the first term.
The game was stopped for six minutes while medical staff attended to the knocked out Gladman.
Golden Square, which led by as many as 53 points in the third quarter, was best served by in-form midfielder Mark Lloyd, who was particularly damaging with his pace in the first half.
Veteran Darren Walsh kicked three goals, while Stacy Fiske booted five goals, including three in the third term.
O'Toole took 11 marks for the Bulldogs, finishing with a return of 3.4, which included misses from three of his four set shots in the first quarter.
''I thought our first half was fairly good and we probably should have been a fair bit further in front (than 33 points at halftime),'' Golden Square coach Mark Adamson said.
''We were fairly average in the second half, but credit to Kangaroo Flat, they just kept at us all day and have really improved.''
Better players for the Roos included Tim Kelly, who kept Christian Carter to one goal, young ruckman Nick Lang, Jarryd Wiegard and Danny Manning, while the lively Ryan McNish kicked three goals.
In his first game for the Roos, Justin Maddern, opposed by Anthony Holdstock, took four marks and kicked 2.1 at half-forward.
