A magnitude 2.9 earthquake was detected about 8.07pm today.
The earthquake's depth was 16 kilometres.

It comes after a magnitude 2.5 earthquake at Lockington on May 15.
That earthquake was recorded at 11.12pm.
At the time, Geoscience Australia had recorded a total of 24 earthquakes within 100 kilometres of Lockington in the past 10 years.
The largest earthquake recorded in the area was in 2018, with a magnitude 3.3.
Two magnitude three earthquakes were recorded between Echuca and Bendigo in 2013, and one in 2010.
